Oh yes. I recall Jim. His wrap around shower cover was a great idea. I use a shower chair myself. He will be missed.

Well, a little bump in the road, so to speak.
Seems I developed a sore/wound/blister at the bottom of my stump.
The Dr thinks there something inside trying to get out, like  a piece of bone, suture, etc.
So, they're gonna cut it open, remove 'whatever' it is, then I heal up and get back to getting the new socket.
Hopefully the wait will be worth it.
Just one of those things we gotta put up with.

But, hopefully I'll be all set up by this summer so I can get back to living, retirement, traveling, riding, etc etc.

love to all

Joe, I do not even think there have been much of a discussion on here for years...honestly I can't think anyone has been rude to any one.  We have tried games, etc.,  and nothing in replies.   After awhile I stopped coming.  I had soooo much fun before, and of course I loved teasing Steve.   ;)

PS:  I don't know if Jim Thompson has ever been on this forum, but he passed on  Good Friday,.  he invented shower sleeves for your leg.  Personally I will miss he and his wife Shirley very much....he was a special person who would do just about anything for his fellow amputee.

I know it's frustrating. You must persevere. They are responsible to deliver lost items to your door or reimburse you for the cost. Call your local news station. They love story's like this.

Thanks for the support.  I am ready to say "uncle".  I can't believe the are so nonchalant about a wheelchair!  But my motto is  "Don't get mad, get even"!  I am on a campaign now. Thanks again, annieg

Thats sounds incredibly frustrating. I have had luggage (bags) lost in the past and as I remember they always left them off to me as it was their fault it became lost.
In your case I would of course keep calling but maybe also send emails as you will have a record of correspondence. One thing I always figured might work is to contact a local politician as well. Even contact a local newspaper and or television station. The fact they are not returning a wheelchair of all things is scandalous. If after a few emails go without a proper resolution, write again and put the politicians, newspapers, tvs email in the :Cc and :Bcc lines in the emails addresses. That way the others will be in the loop and Air France will see this and it may just light a fire under them. No one wants that sort of publicity.
I did this when I had a problem with a broken mobile phone. Not a serious problem in comparison but I had been getting the run around from their customer service and when I added the companies presidents email address in the mix it suddenly got resolved.

Hi all,  I vacationed in Prague the first of April.  I brought a wheelchair because although I can walk I can't do a long distance.  I checked it as luggage on the way home 4/5.  It never showed up.  I filed a lost baggage claim on 4/6 with Air France.  On 4/9 I receive a phone call from Lost & Found at the airport.  They had found it abandoned in a terminal?  They said it was my responsibility to pay a freight service to get it to my home.  I felt AF lost it and should get it back to me.  Lost & Found said just have someone from airline come over sign for it and have them get it back to me.   I have called baggage claim & customer service 8/10 times in the last week.  They are all tell me they will work on it and I have never gotten a call back! Any suggestions? I am beyond frustrated!! Sorry this was so long winded!!    Thanks for listening.  annieg

I thought it was some political cause regarding international copyright or something. I don't know as I was unconscious for a couple of years
