General Discussion / Re: What system is best for an AK

Thanx for the info
I'm pretty active and get plenty of exercise, which is what cause my problem.
But, the cut me open, found a 4"  suture that didn't dissolve, and a bone chip.
Removed em, had to dig deeper than anticipated, and took a little longer.
But, that part is done and time to get back on the new socket, and knee and then retire.
And then start my 3rd career: enjoying life with the kids and g-kids.
Rebuilding my dads 76 Ford Ranchero and give to my G-son.
Rebuild my VW Bus and put in a auto trans, and do some cross country road trips
Tow my scooter
Visit my dau in San Antonio and sit by the pool with a cold (insert drink here)
And my other dau in Colo springs and watch the deer in her font yard each morning.
Otherwise, enjoy the hell outa every day
Meaning retire while I can

And a pic of the stump AFTER surgery

Dave, hope everything goes well with your surgery. I love the PliĆ© so much, would not trade it for any thing.  As far as you contract urges, your leg coming out more than good leg, exercises can help and Physical therapist can really help, if you can go regularly they can give you exercises to help reduce the contracture.  The more you walk they will have to take some of the angle out of the socket.
All the best!

Do not give up, unfortunately until others have been in a similar situation they sometimes really do not care or maybe understand, I am being nice.  You were lucky you were able to walk and not a paraplegic who needed it when they got to the airport.  Do you have a receipt for it being checked?
Hope it all works out:)

Thanks Joe A.  I am working on my campaign!  I wrote on their facebook page and I sent a letter to the head honcho.  I got a response to my FB message.  They are investigating!  Right!  No response to my letter yet.  We will see.  Thanks again, annieg

You love teasing me Ann? Good!
