Just a note Lyrica has been out for a while and it s used for nerve pain. There also are side effects that can come right away or after years of use, some seizure meds like Kepra are also used for nerve pain.

General Discussion / Re: vacuum system questions

I have Stan PattersonStan Vacuum  system, it does not add extra weight and usually Have have to pump once.  You will still sweat in any system no matter what anyone tells you.
All sockets require a perfect fit, I am curious where you are going in OK, I would make sure you get a guarantee that if it does not work out they will not bill you or your insurance, otherwise you may be stuck with another leg for the closet, or I suggest reusing parts or donating.
I can not believe no one near you does vacuum.   Good luck.

Also be sure to give the Plie2 a try the battery comes out so if you are running low you can just swap out, also I can get it wet and it is super responsive, much faster than we can thing.  I love it!

It is really critical with a vacuum system that you have a correct fit or you will have trouble with the pull from the vacuum.  I have the Stan Patterson vacuum system which is a hand held pump but rarely after pumping it in the morning to I rarely  have to pump again.  And no matter what anybody says I think everyone who is active sweats in a liner.  Sometimes you have to take it off dump out the sweat and put it back on.  Look up Prosthetics and Orthotics (POA) at there web or facebook page and get more info.

You could not have said it better try before you buy and be sure rep from manufacture is do settings to no influence your decision, it is easy to make one more stable than the other by programming and we all know certain companies only like to sell one product.

So true, be sure to tell those especially your family how much they mean to you and let bu bones be by bones life is to short to have regrets. Yesterday it was 7 years since my Dad passed and I will always miss him, but have no regrets for all the great times we had together and memories made with my brother and sisters. You can't buy back time. Family is too precious to hold grudges.
