Oh yes. I recall Jim. His wrap around shower cover was a great idea. I use a shower chair myself. He will be missed.

I know it's frustrating. You must persevere. They are responsible to deliver lost items to your door or reimburse you for the cost. Call your local news station. They love story's like this.

I thought it was some political cause regarding international copyright or something. I don't know as I was unconscious for a couple of years

Mine is just 465. I don'y know why I bother to test or take Insulin. Sometimes it just goes crazy and for no reason. I eat the same thing and do the same things every day. I'm told consistency is the key to control butit doesn't seem to work for me. I feel it's because of my blood disorder.

I  haven't seen DWTS but I watch so little TV that mine was out for two weeks from a snow storm and I didn't know it until the Lineman knocked on the door to tell me it was back up.

There's a new drug designed specifically for that type of pain. It's called Lyrica. I tried it and it works. While it's prescribed for three times per day, I only used it "As Needed" when things acted up and it worked well like that as well.

It's so good to see you're here old friend. Mine is a long tale of woe. Some day if you'll stand me a pint I'll tell you all about it. Suffice to say I once again crossed swords with the angel of death. I'm 5 and 0. Some day he'll get the best of me.

Perhaps if you could convince Mike to open the registration more people might come. I had a terrible time getting back on.

I don't know why you all aren't posting. Was there some upheaval that left you angry with one another? A hundred years ago when I lost my leg, If I hadn't found this forum I would have died. It was this site that gave me help and hope. Sometimes they pissed me off with brutal honesty. Other times they laid a hand on my shoulder to cheer me up but all in all I learned that our greatest resource is each other. God bless Mike for still hosting this forum. God bless you for coming here to share what you know.

Dear Steve,
By the power vested in me I hereby declare, pronounce and proclaim that you are a certified member of the Greater Philadelphia Guild for the Advancement of Orthotics and Prosthetics. You may now contact Cascade and establish your business account where you will find your liner for about 350 (USD). As I recall Michael once offered to sell them as well.

A lot of people are now using a drug called "Lyrica" specifically designed for nerve pain. Have your sockets checked for load placement. Remember you shrink and will settle deeper into your socket which puts pressure in the wrong place.

General Discussion / Re: How is everyone braving the winter?

Officially we've received just under 5 feet of snow with more expected tonight. Temps in the teens to -15. Don't forget to make use of such things as Yak-Trax, flip up spikes for canes and ski poles.

Scandal? The communists are still in power and they have the economy so screwed up that 41% of the population is on some form of government assistance. 6 states have filed court proceedings to secede from the union. 28 states have decriminalized marijuana while 2 have made it altogether legal.
