Pegleg,
I wish that it was the copay that is how they measure reaching the donut hole. My understanding is that they use the retail price to measure when you reach $2,500 dollars. Better check with your part "D" drug program

WE need not to return to our old ways of driving, because the gas prices are dropping. If we could cut back when prices were $4.00 plus, we can use this as a Wake up call, We need to continue to purchase cars with better gas milage, and to force the development of alternate fuel.  THIS is the way for all of us to help break the strangulation of imported oil.

Sometimes it is too easy to forget, but not this time!

They were all elected to work for us, and to represent their districts, not to enrich themselves. KIck them out, and put some good people in there to do the job properly.

That is my two cents. Today two cents doesn't buy very much.

Health and Fitness / Re: flu shots

I started getting my flu shot 3 years ago when I had my amputation. I feel an ounce of prevention is.......well you know the rest.
A sore arm is a small price to pay to have a chance at not getting the flu. We can only hope that they got the correct strain covered. Each person can make up their own mind.

I was having a problem fitting my narrow leg jeans over my prosthesis, and they are too narrow to pull them above my knee.
The problem was solved by having a 19" zipper sewn into the inseam, allowing me to put the jeans on and then out my leg on.
Each of the tips listed here show that we can solve life's little problems.

I would be willing to answer the questionnaire after one of the powers to be checks out the site. It is too easy to be scammed

Thanks

OBL Your story is beautifully told, and is paralled with the glass is half full, rather than half empty.

We need to continue to look deep inside to bring out the positive, to envision beauty where there is none. Here in this forum, we have many to help us through the tough times.

Thank you again for sharing the story.

Welcome back to you, and welcome to the cardiac club. You are now a full fledged member in good standing. I do hope that your recovery is steady, as you gain strength.

I know where you are coming from, in Feb 2006 I had my bka and open heart in the space of a week. It take time to recover, but you will.

We all need your guidance to keep us on the straight and narrow. In your posts, you tell it like it is.

Again Welcome back

Jack,

I have a similar problem with my below the knee socket, and we solved it with a window cut in the socket. The top of my fibula sticks out on both of my legs. I probably should have been in braces as a kid to have straighten them. Too late now.

The neat part of my socket is that there is a soft plastic liner inside the socket. It gives me support, while relieving the pressure in that area.

Hope all goes well with the surgery.

Mitchee, I am saddened to hear about Bear's passing. WE all become attached to our animals, they are our FUR KIDS giving us unconditional love.. Our house is full with five dogs and one cat. So we understand your feelings.

I have come across a poem you might want to check out. It has given us comfort at the time of our pet losses

PLEASE CHANGE YOUR FORUM BOOKMARK / Re: New Web Site
« on: May 21, 2008, 08:50:18 AM »
DeZiner,
Good morning. I am looking for some tech help to fully access the new site.
I have no problem playing the video using Internet Explorer 7, but my firefox 2 is looking for the plug in. What plug in do I need to look for and download to access the video.
I believe this site is much improved since the change.

Thank you,

Dave Silberg
