Well said Jack, I get lots of questions to and I know who is asking to learn something or be bullheaded as I put it.  I am very willing to give info and answer questions.  There are lots of peeps that stare  through ignorance and ask rather gruflly what happened like its an order to answer them geeesh wtf is wrong with them lol..

I have been reading all this info and its great to see.  Its very necessary to post how we do repairs on our limbs and hopefully pics to go with the rapairs would help others greatfully.  Not everyone can afford repairs by the proth guys because of expence.  David you certainly have the right idea, keep the info comming.  :)

General Discussion / Re: Who is my "doctor"?
« on: December 23, 2011, 09:31:33 PM »
I don't think you are gonna find that kind of doctor either.  I never had any rehab what so ever so I deal with the proth peeps one on one.  I think the thing is to find a super proth person that understand what you are saying when it comes to doing fittings and hopefully he or she listens to you.  You are the specialists when it comes to how the leg fits.  They have to listen to you if they want to get payed.

There should be a survey as to who covers what and how much.  Perhaps pound the pavement and politations with petations for better care.  Perhaps make up a lost of stay away from those  insurance comaanies so people  dont have to bother calling them at all.  Another way is to blacklist all those companies that want you to pay a fortune for benifets....There has to be some way to get coverage.
