Thank God I have good insurance. Had Kaiser before which always directed me to Hanger and I had to pay 20%

Moved to Cigna, no - copay, hope that continues.

In my opinion / Prosthetic vs the real thing
« on: May 09, 2011, 02:10:06 PM »
In my opinion, we will never see a knee/foot combination that can replace the real thing. I love my C-leg but I think we are still worlds apart from something that can replace a real leg. Bummer.

In my opinion alignment is crucial.

In my opinion socket fitment is crucial.

In my opinion you better watch your weight or your leg will get to tight and hurt.

In my opinion 20% deductible can still be a WHOLE LOT of $$$.  :o

In my opinion thank God I always had insurance.

In my opinion, no matter how much I pay a month for insurance, I'll never pay them back for all the money they have spent on me.   ;)

In my opinion regular crutches are better than the shorter "wrist crutches".

In my opinion you better keep some good tips on your crutches.

In my opinion MCP knees are the best! (as long as water isn't involved)

Hello all,  just joined from Denver Co.  Lost my right leg a/k when I was 18 about 20yrs ago, give our take a few  ;)
(osteo sarcoma) spelling?

Wearing a C-leg, forget which kind of foot. Been on it coming up on 3yrs.

Gonna start checking out this site, I don't really find many forums specific to amputees. Too bad, there is probably a lot of knowlege/advice that can be shared.

Hmm thought I had a "finished product" pic so far only found this.
