Hey Joe don't know you but I will most definitely send a prayer your way. The Old Man upstairs owes me one.  P.S. he always delivers. God speed on recovery.

Hello everybody My name is Karen and I am a RLBK amputee, due to a blood clot     on July 15, 2005.  I know that I am blessed because I am not a diabetic, nor do i have high blood pressure.  I have adjusted extremely well and so far I have had no complications from anything.  I just happened to find this site and I am truly enjoying all of it.

I am still learning things about being an amputee everyday.  I do not attend any  support groups, to far out.  So I know I will be enjoying this even more so.  Ladies I don't know about you, but I am loving my life to the very fullest, and I just love being a woman.

I have always been told that I am a attractive woman, but LOL I feel like the most amazing, sexy, caring, loving, surrounded by the most supportive friends, woman on earth.

I have never cried over losing my leg, to me it was just something that was already written in this chapter of my life to happen.  I firmly believe that God will never overfill my plate.  God knows exactly what we each can handle.

I was never a really spiritual being to start with and I believe this experience has really humbled my soul.  I never fully appreciated my life before this, and now I have some making up to do.  Anyway enough about me.

I live in the Atlanta area and I would love to make more new friends, especially those like myself.   I do enjoy working out to stay in shape and for a healthy lifestyle.

I hope that I am posting this correctly.
