Anyone have any ideas what the sharp pains could be from then? I know I need to ask the dr, but don't see him again until the 25th. Just wondering if it could be something like the bone hitting a nerve or something. It is driving me crazy.

I am curious as to how they diagnosed the bone spurs? I have extreme sharp pains. It is not ciruculation pain but feels like bone pain. THey have done x-rays and said nothing showed up. Even though nothing showed up on the x-rays I know something is going on.

Thanks for the replys. I actually got up on the garden tractor over the weekend to see if I could push in the clutch with the prosthesis. NO GO. LOL. I can do it with the right foot, but I'm just kinda of afraid if I have to stop quick I'll get scared and confused. Yes, I am female, but not blonde. LOL. Just want to be on the safety side of things. So, I think we will try to figure out a way to put a hand control on that clutch. I love mowing with the garden tractor and this is really bumming me out right now. Thanks again

And by the way, the 'Agility' knee is no longer called that, they've had to change the name to 'Plie'

LOL. Yes I've read all the posts about the name change, but as of right now mine has "Agility" printed on it. LOL...

Just wondering if there are any above knee amputees on here that drive a tractor or even a car with a clutch? I was a below knee amputee for nine years and had no problem pushing in the clutch. On Nov 30 2007 I had to have a revision to above the knee. I'm just wondering how hard it will be now. Thanks in advance for any replys. Oh. BTW I have the "Agility" Knee made by Freedom

I am so excited. I finally walked today with the cane. The walker is killing my shoulders so I'm eager to get rid of it. Although I don't have anything to compare it to, I love this "Agility" knee. Just had to share my good news.
AK - Nov 30th 2007

Hi Herb. Actually it is my first leg as a above the knee. I was a below the knee amputee for nine years and developed problems and had to have a revision to above the knee in Nov of 07. Perhaps my being a below the knee amputee before had something to do with it. He never mentioned anything like that. We discsussed the C-leg and the Agility and decided to go with the Agility.

I have this knee and although being a new aka I have nothing to compare it to I like it. I especially like the fact that it will not hurt it if it gets wet from fishing, washing car etc.
