Title: Christmas!
Post by: ann on November 29, 2011, 10:39:10 PM

Has anyone started Christmas shopping.  I have several items already purchased.  Haven't started baking my cutout cookies yet...don't think I will make any home-made candy this year.  I'm afraid I will eat too much of it.   ;)I always try to get my outside christmas lights out by the first week in December.  In case you can't tell, I LOVE THE CHRISTMAS SEASON.       :)

I envy you!  I put shopping etc off as long as possible.  I work better under pressure.  I'm one of those people out on Christmas Eve day.  LOL  My favorite time is Christmas Eve.  No presents, just family & friend.  My grandchildren make it fun because they are still young and can't wait to go to bed, so that Santa will come.  annieg

I've bought a few small things and some decorations are starting to appear around the house but the tree has not been put up and decorated yet.

I've quit smoking, on day 70 now after smoking for 40 years so I've been in a bit of a fog lately.

Riding the trike and life is good. Have yet to golf this winter though. Hey, has anyone heard from JOE A. I haven't seen him post here for ages and really miss his wit and wisdom. Merry Christmas to all from Ireland to Alabama! Cheers. David in Canada

David, Good luck on getting to day 70!!  Like you I gave up smoking a 1 1/2 yr ago after 45 years.  It was one of the hardest things I've ever done.  I still miss it but won't go back.  It was my friend for years.  It help when I was stressed, happy & sad.  Believe me, if I can do it you can.  Keep up the good work. annieg
