Ann, just havent really felt like doing much typing here lately, been having some nasty issues with my stumps and my old friend PLP, he has showed up on me lately amd i have been in a very good mood, and have even taken it out on the wife for now reason at all, which i am ashamed and a little sick over it, but have taken her out to dinner and on a road trip she wanted to go on and see a place down here that both of us wanted to see and do, also this health care crap is starting to tell on me.

By the way how would you like to have 26 maids or person looking after you and all of your needs, have a email from a friend that got it from the CANADIAN FREE PRESS, and he sent it on to me, that person is our own FIRST LADY.

AND i do look in every morning cause of being a moderator on here just to check it out.

I'm reading but just not writing a whole lot, Ann. Just not too much going on with me that is news worthy...

PLJ, you got a email from the First Lady offering you 26 minders? Take them and send me a few spare ones.
I had a look at the Canadian Free Press but its not really my cup of tea. Its so far right wing I can't take it seriously. :-\

Like Steve, I've been busy lately, but nothing that is especially newsworthy.

One bright note, our LVH Amputee Support Group is growing nicely.  It seems we gimpies are multiplying like rabbits. LOL  We're almost outgrowing the meeting room - need to move to a larger one.

Of course, I know our area is full of countless amputees.  It's nice that a few more are discovering our group.  It is quite up-beat and informative.

Steve C, have a question for you, what publications do you concider and read that is in far right wing that you dont trust them, from what i have read and researched from them i have gotten some good information that was actually being said by the DEMO'S.

DICK, glad to here that you group is starting to take off, we are still working the fundamentals out on ours down, like where to have it and how big we need and some other legal asspects that we want in it.

When I clicked on the site and saw the running countdown to Obamas last day in this term nest to an ad showing praying hands saying 'Deliver us from Obama', it raised a red flag. Would a non biased news site have this? In my opinion, no.
I want news but non biased news. They seem to have their agenda and their articles seem more to be propaganda rather than fact.

I won't mention everything that got to me but one article straight away said that global warming is a hoax.

Sorry and no disrespect to you but I have no time for a site like this.

Steve:

I agree with you wholeheartedly about biased anti-Obama political ads.  They have no place on a forum like this - for amputees.  There's plenty of political sites people can join if they wish.

That said, allow me to let you in on a little secret:  I sign onto this forum in a way that by-passes all the ads.  I'm not sure how it works, but I discovered it back when Michael moved to this new format.

I have another sign-on route that does include the ads, but I never use it - so I don't know what the currents ads are.

Dick,

Actually the site I was referring to was a site mentioned in PLJ's post. http://www.canadafreepress.com/ (http://www.canadafreepress.com/)

I didn't like the site and mentioned it. Jack asked me about it.

Hi Dick there is also an option that you can enable on the browser mozilla firefox that will block all the ads so you do not need to seethem. Herb
