If you are going tandem then you might want not want to wear the leg because it could jam you when you land but I would be sure my residual limb was protected. Also you would want o be sure your prosthesis could not fall off that could hurt someone on the ground who knows where. Have fun!

Dolphin,  Good advise!  Having my leg fall off and hit someone on the ground would not be a pretty sight!  I'm going to call different places and see what they recommend.  Thanks all, annieg
