I forgot to ask, what kind of modifications had to be made to make it work as a amp? Was it costly?

Practically nothing. The bike comes with a heel/toe shifter, I am LBKA, so I can push the back side of the shifter to shift up, front of the shifter to shift down.
It'll take a little getting used to, but mechanically, I am good to go.

Big learning curve with a sidecar, however, as they are "driven" around corners, as opposed to leaning into turns like a normal bike. Hence the leading link front end.
