Hi Dick - lets hope her cancer is gone and she gets along well as an amputee. I hope she has found a good prosthetist. With much of her pelvis gone, being fitted for a prosthesis and walking is going to be a challenge. I see that she is starting out with a c-leg. Herb

I'd be curious to see how they do with a prosthesis.  In the video, it appeared they relocated her remaining leg to be centered under the spine.  Also, it must have been a major feat to do the surgery without damaging the trunk-line of nerves going to the remaining leg.

What a great surgery....they did say she had some nerve damage to her remaining leg.  Hopefully they have gotten all the cancer.  :)
