WE need not to return to our old ways of driving, because the gas prices are dropping. If we could cut back when prices were $4.00 plus, we can use this as a Wake up call, We need to continue to purchase cars with better gas milage, and to force the development of alternate fuel.  THIS is the way for all of us to help break the strangulation of imported oil.

Sometimes it is too easy to forget, but not this time!

Dave,
That's a lovely sentiment but the fuel pump has no idea how far away the job is or how much the equipment weighs. A Mack 350 has no guilt. You can almost hear it saying, "Feed me Seymore!!!". I used Bio-Fuel in a crane once and the downtime was three days. While you were paying $4.00 for Regular, I was paying $5.50 for Diesel. I used to get a deal when I bought 10,000 Gallons but those days are long gone and never to return.

All the thoughts of alternative fuel will be gone asw soon as prices settle on the commodity markets. Do you remember the 70's?

Joe A. your right on the price on diesel, and it has just about shut my daughter boyfriend down for he is a indepentant trucker, you should see the number of 18 wheeler's up for sale down here, it is getting real scary, thank god, i have a big yard that i have room for some hay burners if needed. Just got a email from a friend and it is to long to put on here that the SAUDIA'S  are running out of oil and are lying about it to us and our officials are believing them. If you want i will email it to you.
you-all have a great day.

;)  Depends on how much time you have.

I take it you have ridden or walked donkeys before. They can take ages to go anywhere.

I just figured out the prices here in Thailand. Gas is 23 baht/liter which equals .68 cents which is about 2.50 a gal. Diesel is about 3.15 a gal.
