I can't imagine anything more ridiculous than naming my leg.... it's an inanimate object, same as I don't understand people naming their car or whatever... we're all different I guess

I agree.  Would just as soon not have to wear one, but you know ......have to be able to get around.

I wouldn't be without it, I love it, I just don't feel the need to name it.... it's carbon and metal and stuff... it doesn't have a personality that I feel the urge to attach an emotional hook to....

I have never ever thought about giving my legs a name, I have been through so many, but then I wouldn't name my car either its just something that gets me from A to B.

I never have named my pros leg. I'm a bit like oneblueleg on this one. I have (jokingly) referred to my own leg as 'stumpy' from time to time. My then girlfriend would sometimes ask 'Hows Stumpy' today? etc
Where ever I go, I'll always have one foot in Ireland   /   I'm not a complete fool. Some parts are missing.

Sounds like my husband. He affectionately will call me stumpy once in a while :) :)
