cHASEAMP. They sure will show up. i had almost forgotten, when my wife had her ROTOR CUFF surgeray. she had two bone  spurs that showed up when she had her MRI.
And when they operated they cut them down and smoothed outs the bone area.

you can also see both of mine, by just looking and feeling  the side of my stumps.
you-all have a great day.

Just to let you all know i am home and in my wheels, legs are still swollen up a bit but am wearing shrinkers on them now, and hope to be back up on my leg around wed of this week, am still coming off of the morphine that they gave me in the hospital, still getting nasty headache from it, but that happened to me before so i know what i have to do,

Had them do a spinal block, the doctor advised me to go this way in order not to increase the chances of more phantom pain in both legs, had fun laying there talking to the people in the room while the doc was cutting on my legs. And he was right, and in fact my phantom are less than what they were when i went in, just spent one night in so that wasnt so bad. It is just the fact that i am stuck in my wheels that i hate for awhile, but will get over it, give me a chance to get caught up on here with what i need to do with some of my other projects that i am working on.

Will let you know when i take my first step agian.
you-all have a great day.

Hi PLJ,

I'm glad to hear that everything went okay.  It sounds like you are feeling pretty good.  I'm sure that you will be up and around in no time at all.  Thanks for the update and I hope that you continue to heal quickly.

I am sure any spurs would show up on x ray, mine is sticking right out and very visible to the naked eye, so you would probably know if you had them.

Bone spurs definitely show up on an xray... but they can't always be seen with the naked eye; an X-Ray is the only way to make a definite diagnosis. If you could see the spur then it must be a really bad one!!!!!

Well here is and update, today is the day that i am going to put my liners on and wear them for a while and see what happens, the swelling has gone on both legs. will cover the stitches with a bandaid so that the liner dosent pull on them.

Golden mole, yes it was a big one and could be seen real easy on my left stump.
So i am making progress, i have to because my front yard is a mess and needs mowed and the wife is to small to drive my big lawn tractor. and also is not heavy enough to make the seat switch work.
you-all have a great day.

Wore my liners for about three hours yesterday and then tryed to put my legs on found out that i am going have to go back to my 3 MM liners for my 6 MM lliners are to thick right now, almost got my right leg on, so i am getting there.

Its 8:56 AM here and i am setting here with my liners on right now and am using my real tight 6 MM's to shrink down my stumps today and will try agian in the PM. and see what happens.
you-all have a great day.
