The lastest up date, am up to 8 ply socks now on the old legs and it looks like maybe next week will be able to start wearing my last  pair instead of my first pair of legs, Where he cut the bone down is healling real nice and itches like crazy so i know it is okay.

You're a big fan of vit E, PLJ.  It's great for healing, esp scars.

myff, ypur are right i am and use it every night just before i but on my shrinkers and it does help

 I always used it after my amputation...I was told it would help make the scar heal nicer...it healed very quickly and flat.   ;) ann

To all that wear those silicone liners, have by accident found a new use for it, dont know about all of you, but i get a red rash from the liner and it itches like crazy, well the other night i was putting on the scar and i decided to rub some on the rash and it quit itching and the reddness has gone down.

But like i always say it may work for me but not everyone. worth a try to find out if you are getting like i do.

I do get  a red rash 'ring' around the my leg at the precise spot where the liner stops. I'll try that Vit E and tell you how I get on.
Where ever I go, I'll always have one foot in Ireland   /   I'm not a complete fool. Some parts are missing.
