Can I still take Cialis after my amputation

Just posted an intro thread in the other forum and mentioned that I will be getting my left leg amputated soon. Been suffering from diabetes for 20 years and the time has unfortunately come I am terrified and am hoping some miracle will come along. I have been taking cialis for years now for my ED due to my diabetes, I have been doing allot of investigating.

it must be very distressing for you, along with everything else you have to contend with? Have you seen a specialist about it? I'm not expert on ED, but I know there are several treatment forms you can try. But, answering your question: usually, any medication you can take before an amputation, you can take afterwards. Having said that, you may have to wait until your scar is well healed?

Try not to worry too much about the amputation. I've been through elective amputation and it's not nice  , but there is an end to it.

Masti7, yes you can and i was told that just yesterday by my doctor, i personnally dont use it because it dosent work for me, i am on WARFARIN SODIUM, (blood thinner) but as i stated in the other post i am a bilaterial bka. (below the knee amputee). And the doc could not see any reason why other than the blood thinner keeping me from taking it.

But i would check with your PCP(primary care phyisian) just to make sure.

Thanks for all your kind words and advice, I really do appreciate it in these hard times. I will be seeing my urologist next week and will confirm everything with him. As soon as I recover I will be here more often, thanks so much for your advice and help

I agree with the last line of this, it may work for others, but with any prescription drug, consult with your doctors.  They may know things about your specifics that will give a different answer.
